Only in Spain :(

#fail #jazztel @jazztel_es

Today I tried to add a new line to my account through Jazztel. It should be simple enough, no? I logged into my account, selected “add new line” and went forward. The wording was a little confusing to me so I decided to click on “Llama gratis…”.

The call went through easy-enough and it asked me to select if I was already a customer or not. I clicked #1, for yes, I am a current customer. That’s when I got a message saying that I needed to call a different number as this current number (which they advertised on their site) was only for new customers.

Ok, no problem, I decided to give the web order another try. Then I got a pop-up as I was ordering saying “Te llamamos gratis…”. Ok, that’s cool, let me give that a try. So I entered my phone number and got a call almost immediately. Pretty cool, no? NO, not cool, it was the SAME number as I had called earlier, where I had been asked if I was a current customer and if so, call ANOTHER number.

So how does it work?

Current customer –> Things are not convenient for you. Thank you for your money 😐

New customer –> Things are convenient for you, until you become a current customer 🙂
