The documentary was good, maybe one of the best I’ve seen. It did raise a lot of questions, but the ultimately I feel there isn’t much to do, mainly because the coincidences seem to real.
Mainly, let us suppose Steven is innocent, are we supposing the cops killed the lady? I mean, who else would have done it? Steven was the last to see her alive, and whether or not the evidence was planted, how do you reconcile being the last person to see her, and her death? The timing does not add up. Are we to believe the cops were waiting for a death to pin on him, and that this death had to happen after he/she visited him? You see where I’m going with this… It’s too coincidental.
The part that raises enough doubt is the nephew. It does seem to me that he was used by the cops and that he was unfairly tried, used and worst, disposed.
Finally, the documentary reinforced the fact that our legal system, like most systems in the US, favor the rich.
